Ethical We go beyond compliance with laws and
regulations as noted above and we ensure that we do no harm
through our daily operations. We rigorously train our

with minimal impact to the environment. |

Philanthropic While we provide returns to
the government in the form of taxes and dividends, we use a portion
of our profits to fulfill our philanthropic responsibility. We
do this through various programmes both on our own and in
collaboration with other corporate, non-governmental and
community-based partners. The programmes are also implemented
in partnership and alignment with the Government’s vision for the
sector. Our community programmes are designed with the
national interest always at the forefront of our minds. Our
focus is on the development of our communities and youth, with a
focus on Training and Education, Culture and the Arts, Sport and the
Environment. |

Socio-Economic program Since the launch of the programme in 2005, NGC
has continued to expand and strengthen its community relations’
vision for helping communities. This approach involves
mutually beneficial relationships with communities – particularly
those along our pipeline routes – that provide both parties (NGC and
Communities) with meaningful dialogue and feedback. The main focus is our Facilities Development
Programme where we build or refurbish community buildings such as
centres, sporting facilities and residential homes for the elderly
or children. |
